From 12:30 to 13:30 onNovember 8,the “EIS Cup” IELTSCompetition held bythe International Schoolof Huashang Collegeand theEdvantageInstituteofSingapore(EIS), kicked off in classroom 409 of the Qizhi Building. TheIELTScontest aims tohelp students familiarizethemselveswith the IELTS testandimprove their IELTSreading and writing skills.Students from the classes of 2019, 2020and 2021of the International School actively participatedin the contest.
At the start, the hostexplained the test process,highlightedtherulesof thecompetition, emphasized the importance ofreading and writingonIELTS, and expectedthe contestantstogain excellent results.
After the test papers were distributed,all the contestants were absorbed in the contest and writing the paper attentively.To betterexperience the IELTStest,thestudentscherish the chance moreand werededicated to striving for the top spot.

After the competition, teachers carefully marked the papers and fairly picked out the winners.Finally,10students won out andwereeligible forthereimbursement ofanIELTS testfee. 5 winners among them would gain thereimbursementbetween November 2021 and March 2022on the condition that they took anIELTS testbetween November 2021 and March 2022and gained the score at least 6.0. If more than 5 contests met the prerequisite, thereimbursementwill be rewarded to the top 5 in the chronological order.The list of10winners was announced as follows:
