To implement the national "Belt and Road" initiative, leverage the distinctive strengths of the International School, keep pace with global developments, and promote international employment opportunities for students, on December 9, 2024, a delegation from the International School—including Dean Hui Yanyan, Vice Dean Zhang Zhen, and counselor Hao Zixiu—visited Guangzhou Youfang International Labor Service Co., Ltd. for discussions on school-enterprise collaboration. The delegation was warmly received by Chairman Qin Jiesheng, General Manager Mao Xiaoling, and Deputy General Manager Liu Qian of the company.

Dean Hui Yanyan expressed gratitude to General Manager Mao Xiaoling for her longstanding support and concern for the International School’s student development initiatives. She introduced the school’s talent cultivation measures and achievements, highlighting that, building on students' prior experience in activities organized by the United Nations Association of China, Guangzhou Huashang College plans to establish a Model United Nations Association in 2025 to facilitate global employment for graduates. She also proposed strengthening cooperation in areas such as off-campus internship bases and overseas employment for students.

General Manager Mao Xiaoling presented the company’s current AI-driven projects and applications for serving overseas enterprises. She provided a detailed analysis of the talent demands of international businesses, particularly the industrial characteristics and workforce needs of Chinese enterprises in Southeast Asia.

Regarding Party-building efforts, the International School proposed collaborating with the Party branch of Guangzhou Youfang International Labor Service Co., Ltd. through joint activities such as visits to Zengcheng’s red education bases and Party lectures. This initiative aims to integrate corporate and academic ideological education, enrich Party organizational life, and invigorate Party members.

The two parties also held in-depth discussions on student internships, corporate mentorship programs, and enterprise visits. Following thorough communication, they signed an agreement to jointly establish an off-campus internship base.

This visit not only deepened the interaction between the International School and Guangzhou Youfang International Labor Service Co., Ltd. but also steadily advanced talent cultivation and employment efforts. It also served as an innovative attempt at Party-building collaboration, creating more possibilities for future school-enterprise cooperation.
