在国家“全民阅读”的推广背景下,广州华商学院国际学院 2025-2026 学年“阅见世界·语你同行”阅读挑战赛于11月圆满收官。本次大赛以“阅见世界·语你同行——国际学院阅读实践月”为核心主题,面向国际学院全体在校学生,借助阅读搭建交流桥梁,点燃学子的思辨火花,积淀学院的书香底蕴。
大赛精彩回顾
大赛分为三大类别:中外文化对比阅读赛、多语种笔记创意赛、借阅竞速赛。
【中外文化对比·语通寰宇】
同学们以个人或2人小组形式参赛,鼓励不同国籍、语言方向的学子组队协作,选取中外同类著作作为参考,围绕中外教育体系、职场文化等主题深挖差异,撰写双语读后感。作品凭借深刻的对比分析、敏锐的文化洞察与精准的语言表达,经评审严格打分,取优秀作品脱颖而出晋级终审。
【多语种笔记·笔绘文明】
一份份笔记尽显巧思:有人手绘多语种知识点对照卡,搭配插画解读外文图书核心内容;有人以电子手写形式拆解外文句子,标注语法结构并附上中文释义;还有人制作纸质海外文化场景笔记,标注礼仪细节并引用外文原文。这些笔记融合至少两种语言,是学子们专业能力与创意的体现,经学院从语言准确性、创意呈现、文化关联性维度评审,作品有机会获评“最佳多语种笔记”。
【借阅竞速·书海竞帆】
本项比赛无需报名,学院以学校中央图书馆提供的数据为依据,对2025年11月1日00:00至12月7日24:00期间,本院学生在馆内的有效图书借阅数量进行排行,以阅读量的比拼,激发学子们走进图书馆、徜徉书海的热情。

《民俗经典:节日览胜》以宏大而细致的框架,展现了中国节日文化的系统性与传承性。全书九大门类涵盖传统节日、民族节日、宗教节日等多元形态,从春节的辞旧迎新到端午节的驱邪避疫,从傣族泼水节的祈福到回族开斋节的感恩,每一个节日都承载着特定的文化寓意与社会功能。徐忱在书中着重剖析了节日与干支历法、二十四节气、祭祀传统的深层关联,指出中国节日的起源多与农耕生产、祖先崇拜紧密相连——春节源于上古岁首祈年祭祀,核心是祈求五谷丰登、家族兴旺;清明节兼具祭祖扫墓与踏青迎春的双重内涵,体现了“慎终追远”的伦理观念;重阳节的登高敬老则是儒家“孝道”文化的直接体现。这种将自然时序、家庭伦理与国家祭祀融为一体的节日体系,构成了中国“家国同构”的文化底色。
A Survey of Traditional Festivals presents a comprehensive and hierarchical picture of Chinese festival culture. Divided into nine chapters, the book covers traditional festivals, legal holidays, ethnic celebrations, and religious observances, providing detailed accounts of customs, legends, and historical origins. Xu Chen meticulously links Chinese festivals to the lunar calendar, the Twenty-Four Solar Terms, and ancestral worship, illustrating how these celebrations are deeply intertwined with agricultural life. For example, the Spring Festival, originating from ancient harvest rituals, centers on family reunion, ancestor veneration, and prayers for prosperity; Qingming Festival combines tomb-sweeping to honor ancestors with spring outings, embodying the Confucian values of "respecting the past and cherishing the memory of ancestors"; and the Double Ninth Festival, with its traditions of climbing mountains and respecting the elderly, directly reflects the virtue of filial piety.

中秋之夜,皓月清辉与团圆期许相融,家人围坐分食月饼,酥软外皮裹着香甜内馅,甜意漫于舌尖,温情漾在心头;孩童提灯嬉戏,长辈讲述嫦娥奔月的传说,神话与月色交织出浪漫意蕴,"但愿人长久,千里共婵娟"的诗句,将思念与渴望藏进月光,相隔千里亦能借月寄情。端午时节,包粽子纪念屈原,承载对家国情怀的尊崇;龙舟竞渡鼓声雷动,健儿挥桨劈波,既显昂扬精气神,亦含祛病消灾祈愿;挂艾草、佩香囊、沐兰汤,以草木清香驱蚊虫,是古人顺应时节的智慧。重阳之日,秋高气爽,人们登高远眺盼顺遂,赏菊品茗寄思念,更将敬老怀亲传统融入其中,晚辈陪伴长辈出游敬献佳肴,延续尊老美德。这些节日多以家庭为核心场景,节奏舒缓温润,在一粥一饭的仪式中,沉淀着对亲情、伦理与安稳生活的珍视,如涓涓细流滋养着内敛含蓄的民族性情。
Chinese traditional festivals are permeated with a warm atmosphere of "reunion" and "blessing", closely linked to the farming civilization and family ethics. The Spring Festival, the most important festival in China, centers on family reunion. People travel thousands of miles back home to paste Spring Festival couplets, have a reunion dinner together, stay up late on New Year's Eve and visit relatives and friends. Every custom is a way to maintain family ties. Even in modern times, the huge flow of people during the Spring Festival travel rush still shows the deep-rooted desire for reunion. On the Mid-Autumn Festival, families gather to appreciate the full moon and share mooncakes, entrusting the wish of "may we all be blessed with longevity" in the gentle moonlight. The Dragon Boat Festival, with dragon boat races and zongzi (glutinous rice dumplings), not only commemorates Qu Yuan's patriotic feelings but also carries the simple wish of warding off diseases and disasters. The Double Ninth Festival, when people climb mountains, admire chrysanthemums and wear dogwood, inherits the virtue of respecting the elderly through ritual sense. Most of these festival customs take the family as the core scene, with a gentle and slow rhythm. In the rituals passed down from generation to generation, they precipitate the Chinese people's cherishment of family affection, ethics and stable life, nourishing the reserved and implicit national temperament like a gurgling stream.

中美幼儿STEM教育的差异,本质上是文化传统、社会背景与教育现实需求的双重映射,而非“优劣之分”。中国的“模板化”STEM教育,并非是对儿童创造力的束缚,而是基于国内学前教育资源分布不均、城乡幼儿园办园条件差异较大、教师专业能力参差不齐的现实做出的理性选择。标准化课例能够降低STEM教育的实施门槛,让偏远地区或师资薄弱的幼儿园教师也能顺利开展活动,保障更多幼儿接触科学教育的机会,这是实现教育公平的底线目标。同时,中式教育中“教师主导”的模式,也源于中国文化中“师者,传道授业解惑也”的传统认知——教师不仅是知识的传递者,更是儿童成长过程中的引导者、支持者与榜样,这种角色定位既符合国内幼儿园的教学实际,也契合家长对“教师专业性”的期待。
Finally, based on the reading experience of the two books, I have thought about how to promote the development of early childhood STEM education in the future. The most important point is that there is no one-size-fits-all solution, and we need to learn from each other’s strengths on the basis of respecting our own cultural roots. For China, we should inject flexibility into the standardized frameworks. On the premise of ensuring the feasibility of teaching, we can reserve time for children’s open exploration, and encourage teachers to adjust activity links according to children’s interests and actual situations. For example, in the "paper bridge load-bearing" activity, after demonstrating the basic folding methods, teachers can guide children to try more creative structures. For the United States, it is necessary to strengthen the support for under-resourced schools, provide them with sufficient materials and teacher training, and ensure that every child has the right to participate in inquiry-based learning. At the same time, teachers should appropriately provide targeted guidance when children encounter bottlenecks in exploration, so as to avoid aimless play.
